"Living in the one of the first homes built in Meadowmont, we met Clarence Lupton in the Fall of 2000. He guided us through the entire purchasing process with ease and professionalism. He is trustworthy, dependable and always available to answer any questions. Even though purchasing a new home can be stressful, he made it seamless and stress free. We would highly recommend Clarence to anyone interested in buying or selling in Meadowmont or other areas of Chapel Hill."

"I want to thank you for the excellent job you did with the buying of our home at 708 Meadowmont Lane in Chapel Hill. You and I both know what an ordeal it was to begin with, with the builder issues, completion issues, mortgage and closing dilemmas. I must say that your presence not only helped me resolve all the hardships I went through, but your warm and kind demeanor was a moral support that I have not seen with agents I have dealt with in the past. You were always there to help me, only a phone call away. I am proud to say that "YOU ARE THE BEST"."

"We began our search for a retirement home in Chapel Hill riding with Clarence in his 4-wheel drive vehicle drudging through muddy paths as he helped us select a building lot in Meadowmont. From the very beginning, Clarence shared with us his expertise - from site selection to the width of inside door frames. He followed through with construction and kept things moving along. Our closing was both on time and uneventful because of his skill in tying down all of the loose ends. We are most appreciative of his help in making our home in Meadowmont meet both our needs and desires. Without him, we would have never fulfilled our dream of returning to Chapel Hill to live after graduating from UNC in 1958."

"With the challenging real estate market, you need help from a professional you can trust. An agent who goes that extra mile, Clarence Lupton is that Realtor. I truly appreciate all of the time and effort he put into helping us with our new home purchase in Meadowmont. The exceptional personal service provided by him should be commended."

"Greetings to all that may read this. It is not my intent to sound like a commercial, but when Clarence Lupton asked me to write a document outlining the personal significance of Meadowmont Village (specifically the condominiums) to me,
I was very excited to have an opportunity to do this. My feelings on the topic run very deep. The condos support a luxurious lifestyle that would be enjoyable and convenient to anyone at all, but to me the ramifications are much more
oriented toward independence and access to services throughout the community. To clarify the importance of independence to me, I do not drive because I am a survivor of a vehicular accident in June 1994 caused by a blown tire. I have
always been someone who values independence greatly, and having to rely on others to give me rides to places (especially work) never sat very well with me. I now work at the UNC Wellness Center, located about four hundred yards from my door. Harris Teeter, the grocery store, is located even closer than the Wellness Center. These two places alone provide a great deal of independence, for working and eating are two staples of human life. There is also a selection of restaurants from which to choose located in the village. It is outstanding to have such an array of facilities in my ‘backyard’, but situations of course arise that necessitate travel outside Meadowmont Village. A Chapel Hill bus stop (the V bus) is located about 20 yards away, and a Triangle Transit Authority bus stop is located right across Highway 54, about half a mile away.
So in summation, I am truly blessed to live in a community that has so many amenities and luxuries, and this is accentuated by my own personal needs. Of the twenty four units, I was the second to move in (first in my building). There remained no new residents for about six more months, and then the unit directly underneath mine sold. Beginning a few months after that, twenty one of the remaining twenty three units were sold. When the retail space below becomes more full, I fully expect the condos to thrive even more."

"I first met Clarence Lupton at Meadowmont Realty in the fall of 2002. I had been looking for something in the Chapel Hill area, and he introduced me to the Meadowmont Village Condominiums. I eventually purchased one of the units, and moved in during January of 2003.
I have enjoyed the condo and the area for the past five years. This fall, however, I decided that I might think about selling it, and called Clarence to check on its marketability. He said that it was an opportune time to sell, so we decided that he should show it to a few of his interested clients. It sold very quickly this past August.
In both buying and selling the condo, I have been very impressed with Clarence. He made the process simple and represented me well in both situations. I would certainly recommend him most highly."

"Clarence Lupton helped us buy and then, six years later, sell a home in Meadowmont. During both these experiences, we were impressed with Clarence's professionalism, ethics, and unique knowledge of the Meadowmont market. We have grown to trust his expertise and seek his advice. We can enthusiastically recommend him and his firm. Truly, no one knows this market better than Clarence does."
